Fall 2011-2012* ELE 301 No Pass/D/Fail
Circuits and Signal Processing
Development of analysis tools to study analog and digital signals, including sampling, reconstruction, and modulation. Use of time and frequency domain techniques to investigate signals through systems, including feedback systems and their stability. Examples will be drawn from CD drive, motor speed control, AM and FM radio broadcast.

Reading/Writing assignments:
Weekly labs include computing and simulation lab exercise using Matlab, weekly homework assignments. 5-40 pages of reading per week.
Requirements/Grading:
Mid Term Exam - 25%
Final Exam - 40%
Lab Reports - 15%
Problem set(s) - 20%
Other Requirements:
Course is required for concentrators
Prerequisites and Restrictions:
ELE 201, 203.
