Fall 2006-2007ELE 475
Computer Architecture
Modern computer processor, platform and infrastructure architectures. Instruction-set architecture and high-performance processor organization including pipelining, data and instruction parallelism. Cache, memory and storage architectures. Coherent multiprocessors. Interconnection and network infrastructures.

Permission Of Instructor or ELE 375 or COS 471. Seniors and graduate students may waive prerequisites with instructors permission. An equivalent of COS 471 will also be accepted as a prerequisite..
