Digital Signal Processing

The lectures will cover: (1) Basic principles of digital signal processing. (2) Design of digital filters. (3) Fourier analysis and the fast Fourier transform. (4) Roundoff errors in digital signal processing. (5) Applications of digital signal processing.

Reading/Writing assignments:
Reading and 4-6 problems each week.

Requirements/Grading:
Mid Term Exam - 30%
Final Exam - 45%
Programming Assignments - 25%

ELE 301..

Other information:
The laboratory will involve the design of filters and implementation of signal processing routines using software packages.
