Image Processing

Introduction to the basic theory and techniques of image processing. Topics include image perception, acquisition, display, enhancement, restoration, compression, transformation, tomography, medical imaging, video coding and content analysis. Applications to HDTV, machine vision, medical imaging, etc.

Typical weekly assignments: laboratory, homework. 5-30 pages of reading per week.
