Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus for Economists

Systems of linear equations, Gaussian elimination, matrices, and determinants. Differential multivariable calculus. Constrained optimization, and the Kuhn-Tucker conditions.

Prerequisites and Restrictions:
MAT 104 or permission of instructor. Two terms of advanced placement may be substituted for MAT 104..
Other information:
MAT 200 or MAT 201/202 is a prerequisite for EC0 303, 304, and 305. Students interested in Economics graduate school are advised to take MAT 201/202 or MAT 203/204 instead.
