Physical Hydrology
The course develops model parameterization for land surface water and energy models based on the underlying physics and mechanisms of surface and subsurface runoff generation, evapotranspiration, infiltration, and snow accumulation and melt. A goal of the course will be the development of a land surface model. Numerical issues related to land surface modeling will be discussed.
