Molecular and Cellular Immunology

A broad survey of the field of immunology and the mammalian immune system. The cellular and molecular basis of innate and acquired immunity will be discussed in detail. The course will provide frequent exemplars drawn from human biology in health and disease.

Reading/Writing assignments:
Approximately 25-30 pages from text and additional reading from the literature each week.

Requirements/Grading:
Mid Term Exam - 30%
Final Exam - 45%
Quizzes - 15%
Oral Presentation(s) - 10%

Other Requirements:
Not Open to Freshmen.

Prerequisites and Restrictions:
MOL 214.
