Ethical and Scientific Issues in Environmental Policy

ENROLLMENT BY APPLICATION OR INTERVIEW. DEPARTMENTAL PERMISSION REQUIRED.

This course will discuss policy issues relating to the environment, using several case studies to provide a deeper understanding of the science and values involved.

Reading/Writing assignments:
Presentation to the Seminar. Final paper, due at end of seminar, 3000 words.

Requirements/Grading:
Papers - 50%
Oral Presentation(s) - 20%
Class/Precept Participation - 30%
