There will be three components to the class. The first is a series of weekly and bi-weekly exercises that will be presented in class. Second, there will be disscussions of ongoing work in progress linking it to the readings. Finally, there will be a final digital fabrication project due at the end of the term.

Prerequisites and Restrictions:
Open to Architecture students based on seniority.
No previous computer experience is assumed. The emphasis in the course will be on the implications of the development of computational models for design and fabrication in architecture, and the conceptual and technical understanding required to produce them. Note: the final project in this course is a design project which will be worth 40% of the final grade.
