Introduction to embedded computing, cyberphysical systems and Internet-of-Things: basic concepts; reliability, availability, power/energy consumption, security. Finite-state machines. Sensors and actuators. Embedded processors. Performance/power analysis. Real-time systems. System-on-chip architectures. Hardware-software co-design. High-level synthesis. Low-power embedded system design.
