Selected Topics in Solid-State Electronics - Frontiers of Materials Spectroscopy

This course introduces students to state-of-the-art techniques in spectroscopy and imaging of solid state systems. The topics covered provide theoretical and practical understanding of the primary materials spectroscopy tools, as well as a literature survey of current topics. Particular emphasis is placed on novel techniques such as nanoscale quantum sensing, probing 2D materials, spectroscopy of nanostructures, and new developments in surface-sensitive techniques.
