Princeton Atelier - Connecting with the Connector

ENROLLMENT BY APPLICATION OR INTERVIEW. DEPARTMENTAL PERMISSION REQUIRED.

A one-off opportunity to be involved in the development of Jason Robert Brown's new musical "The Connector." Jason Robert Brown will be working with the playwright Jonathan Marc Sherman and the director Daisy Prince in mounting two readings of the show at the McCarter. Students will work alongside professional actors, designers and musicians and participate in developmental readings and discussions with Professor Brown and the other members of the creative team. Much discussion will focus on the nature of collaboration in the development of new musical theater, both on - and off-stage.

Weekly readings and one paper.
