Analysis of fundamental processes in the hydrologic cycle, including precipitation, evapotranspiration, infiltration, streamflow and groundwater flow.

Reading/Writing assignments:
Reading assignments, approximately 40-50 pages per week. Weekly problem sets. Semester paper on selected research project.

Students will be encouraged to solve problems in Matlab. Prior experience with Matlab is not required.
