An introduction to modern cryptography. An emphasis will be placed on the fundamental ideas, while some practical considerations will also be discussed. Topics covered include private key and public key encryption schemes, digital signatures, pseudorandom generators and functions, chosen ciphertext security, and some advanced topics.
