There will be one written essay-style test that will cover excerpts from some readings; and several shorter pop quizzes on that week's reading. Students are required to keep a "Semester's Journal" in which to record your questions about the issues we are considering, and your ideas and/or reflections about those issues. Team 4-minute YouTube Video summarizing a venture idea of your own and explaining why it's a promising and sustainable idea.

There are no prerequisites for this course other than a curiosity about its focus and a willingness to engage actively in class discussions and assignments. Students from across the campus are welcome..
Students who took EGR 498 "Special Topics in Social Entrepreneurship: Ventures to Address Global Challenges" are not eligible.
