From Codex to Code: Technologies of Learning

Emmanuel C. Bourbouhakis

How have technologies associated with learning-- systems of writing, recording, and communication shaped the nature of inquiry? How has innovation in media, from manuscripts to motherboards, helped to fashion the questions we ask and the kinds of answers we are wont to give? This seminar will examine the historical interdependence of technology and the Humanities.
