Intermediate Chinese II in Beijing

A four-week summer intensive language course taught in Beijing, China, which is a continuation of CHI 105C. This course continues the intensive study of modern spoken and written Chinese and includes the survey of modern cultural and social issues. Admission by application. Prerequisite: CHI 105C or equivalent. The course consists of five two-hour classes and five two-hour drill sessions weekly, plus individual tutorial sessions.

Reading/Writing assignments:
Approximately two pages of reading and 150-200 characters of written homework will be assigned each day.

Prerequisites and Restrictions:
CHI 105 or equivalent..

Equivalent Courses:
CHI 107C, CHI 107, CHI 108 are considered equivalent courses and cannot be taken multiple times for credit.
